However, everything turned out okay and I'm completely satisfied with my purchase. They sent my order immediately and it works great. The only thing I was bothered by was that I sent an email asking about something, but I never got a response.
Buy it as a gift or buy it for yourself. Waist of money. Sansa clip 2 GB is my first MP3 player. Do not rush for the big names. This little player is all you need for a trip to a gym or for a walk. It looks very small and that is great. It plays FM radio quite good and that's a nice feature for the price.
overall a competent but flawed design. A much better idea would be to provide a METAL clip but I guess that's just the company cutting corners. So far this player has delivered in regards to playback of music and even better: audio books and podcasts since it bookmarks automatically when it shuts off. The one thing I really hate is the flimsy plastic clip it comes with which already has a couple of splits in it.
I love it. It doesn't cost as much as the Shuffle. I looked it up on Office Depot's website and this player was on sale for $19.99. And did I mention I got it for a heck of a deal at Office Depot.
I was researching for a few days on a new mp3 player for my upcoming trip. And much thanks to the poster for the heads up of Office Depot. Once I saw that steal of a deal I ran down to the store to grab one of these babies. And I set my eyes on this beauty.
Once I set my mind on buying the Clip I read some of the comments on Amazon about the Clip and someone mentioned in their comments that it was on Sale at a "huge" discount. :) I compared the ipod shuffle with this one and decided I wanted to get the Sansa Clip for a few reasons. It has a display unlike the Shuffle.
And I charge it at work on the computer. It was refurbished, and I've been using it for 10 months now. Its hard to find such small radio player that is digital. I walk 35 minutes to work and listen to NPR in the mornings.
SanDiskSansa Clip 2 gb. This is a very hassle free device and anybody and everybody should have one. And when I want, I've got the mp3 tunes for backup.Battery lasts me maybe 1 week or more. I got this from woot.com for 25 bucks total.
I love how tiny it is. (btw, I wish ipods had radios built in, and then the ipod nano would be superior to this) GREAT deal. I use it 95% for the radio.
